They soon began discussing their dissatisfaction with senior living options and the mutual belief that there must be a better way. The pair left the conversation determined to develop a truly transformative model for senior care.

Joe and Bruce began meeting with other industry leaders, and when the pandemic hit, they took advantage of the extra time on their hands to push their ideas forward.

Bruce, Joe, and the team quickly determined that simply updating existing centers was not going to be enough — they would have to start at the very beginning with design. After much back and forth, they found an approach that allowed for the options residents wanted while cutting overhead costs in order to keep pricing affordable.
