The HHS Culinary team in Lake Havasu City, Arizona has been very active in their local community this fall as members of the team came together to walk in the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk as well as the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk.
Additionally, the team supported a food drive organized by the community involvement team at the hospital. The goal was that each department gather canned goods while the hospital’s senior management donated turkeys. The facility managed to collect enough goods to deliver meals to 260 families, serving nearly 1,500 pounds of turkey.
