A facility in Longview, Texas has taken a special focus on hand-washing compliance over the last few months. For the month of September, it was announced that the HHS EVS department achieved first place for compliance, with a 96 percent compliance rate. EVS Director Phillip Batchelder and his team received recognition for the department’s success during an interdepartmental huddle. The COO of the facility stated that he is very pleased with the improvements in hand hygiene compliance for September and with the EVS department’s recent patient satisfaction results.
