The local EVS team in Rome, Georgia received a notable award from their facility partner. Director of EVS Matthew Wright has created a strong partnership with the facility, which resulted in receiving the 2019 Nursing Excellence Award for Best Partnership. Matt also led his team to become the top performing locations in the facility’s division for 2018.
HHS Executive Vice President of EVS Michael Disparano said of the achievement, “Nursing recognized [the EVS] team for 'best partnership,' which is practically unheard of. Furthermore, at this time last year, the department was being overhauled, which put a strain on the partnership between nursing and EVS. Matt and his team have done an excellent job changing the culture and the perception of our team at the facility. Big shout out to Matt, Lance, Adam, and team for this awesome recognition!”
