On February 20, 2021, Evans was transporting a patient to the floor when he noticed something wasn’t right after they left the emergency room. Without a second thought, Evans returned the patient to the emergency room to have them examined by hospital staff.
Soon after the patient was readmitted, they went into full cardiac arrest and had to be CODED. Thankfully, the patient made a full recovery under the care of the hospital staff.
Evans’ quick reaction and intuition saved the patient’s life. He is an exemplary team member and symbolizes the pillars which HHS stands for.
