EVS team member Leticia Santillan was recognized by her facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico for creating innovative way to support the patient experience. Leticia developed a new towel art setup of two swans kissing to form a heart, and the feedback from patients and staff alike has been extremely positive. The hospital was so appreciative of Leticia's innovative spirit that they recognized her achievement in their facility newsletter. EVS Director John Tharp has asked Leticia to teach the rest of the EVS team this technique to use as the hospital’s standard setup.
Leticia has been on the EVS team at the facility since 2016.
