Team Member Named as Employee of the Month

Maria “Lupe” Rodriquez has worn several hats with HHS. At her facility in Lakeway, Texas, she originally began working on the EVS team, but she later moved to the culinary team and worked in the kitchen before taking on the lead patient ambassador role. Chef Tommy Turbyfill said of Lupe, “Seeing her determination, wonderful persona with staff and patients, plus many other attributes, we knew she was the one for [the lead ambassador] position.” 

Lupe is also leading her team in another way, becoming the first HHS employee at the facility to be recognized as employee of the month. 

Turbyfill says of Lupe’s achievement, “Apparently our names weren't in the hat I was told, but she just had too many outstanding comment cards for her to be overlooked. Also thanks to her superior work, HHS will no longer be left out of the running for future employee of the month awards. Thank you Lupe for all your hard work!”
