Team Member Receives Award From Hospital CEO

In Caldwell, Idaho, housekeeping team member Mandie Barbosa recently received the “My CEO Thinks I’m Awesome” award from the hospital CEO for her quick actions to help save a patient. Mandie was performing a morning freshen up service in a patient’s room when their condition began to rapidly decline. Mandie quickly alerted nursing staff, enabling them to call a code blue and get the patient the care that they required.

Director of EVS Carlos Vazquez said of the event, “Without Mandie in the room that day, things could have been very different. Thank you, Mandie, for always being there for the patients and for your quick thinking! Congratulations on being recognized by the CEO!”
