Team Member Receives Glowing Letter from Patient

Housekeeping Supervisor Shanina Farris in Smyrna, Tennessee has a knack for building strong relationships with patients. After one such interaction, Shanina received a thoughtful letter from a patient addressing God, thanking Shanina for her kind spirit.

Director of EVS Kevin Heflen says of Shanina’s accomplishments, “Shanina is a new team member here that just came on board in September. We are excited about the impact she has already made, and we look forward to her continued success with HHS.”

The letter reads:

God, I met Shanina today, and boy was she great. She caught me by surprise and put a smile on my face. She went out of her way to make me feel good. She did everything just how you said she should. Shanina also listened to some things I had to say. I couldn’t think of any other way I’d like to start my day. Lord, thank you for Shanina. She is a blessing to us. She is also the reason you created mankind from dust.
