Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Dietetics from Western Kentucky University, and completed her dietetics internship program at the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining HHS, Jessica spent eight years as a dietitian providing clinical, long-term, and consultation care, and has worked in behavioral hospitals, nursing homes, businesses and corporations, and doctors’ offices. She has gained experience completing nutrition assessments on high nutrition risk patients, providing diet education, adjusting and ordering nutrition support, and working closely with kitchen staff.
Jessica is married and has a young son named Miles. She moved from the city to a more rural area surrounded by cattle, and a pond that's frequented by wildlife. In her free time she loves playing outside with her son, going to Zumba classes, trying out new recipes, and fishing with her husband.
