As a parent, Miranda Anspach, wants to instill in her daughter the knowledge that the sky's the limit when it comes to her future. Miranda is certainly setting that example as she grows her career with HHS. Miranda started as a dining ambassador and then was promoted to dietitian at a hospital in the Pacific Northwest before HHS acquired the contract in October 2020. After a year as part of the HHS team, she accepted a promotion to patient services manager.
Led by Passion
Patient care has been Miranda’s passion ever since working through college as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). In her new role, she has instilled that passion into everything she does so she can make a difference in the lives of patients during their hospital stay. Miranda recently proved herself a proactive and dedicated advocate when she assisted the wife of one of her patients, who lived hours away from the hospital, to qualify for hospital housing nearby. The patient’s wife had been misinformed about the services available to her and Miranda went above and beyond to make sure she got what she needed.
What Miranda Enjoys Most About Working for HHS
“The people. From my local crew to the vice president and executive vice president, everyone has been fun and friendly to work with and get to know. It is a diverse group with a variety of backgrounds and knowledge that I [am] looking forward to getting to know more.”
Advice for Fellow Team Members
“It is ok to make mistakes in life, but the ones that truly overcome [those mistakes] are the ones that learn and grow from them and use them to make [themselves] a better person.”
Miranda lives with her family on a rural farm in Idaho, where she and her husband garden and enjoy life with their one-year-old daughter by their side. In her free time, she likes canning and knitting.
