Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) in St. Albans, Vermont, selected HHS to manage their environmental services (EVS) department effective February 6, 2022. NMC is hopeful that HHS’ 47 years of healthcare housekeeping expertise and proven systems and processes will enhance service quality across the facility.
Under this partnership, HHS will provide NMC with a customized EVS solution focused on delivering positive outcomes. By implementing our quality assurance program and technology platforms, we’ll track, monitor, and analyze our performance results and continually ensure we are hitting benchmarks for the facility. Our monthly, hands-on in-service training for EVS managers and frontline staff supports this objective.
HHS will also equip NMC with a solid onsite EVS leadership team to oversee the entire EVS process and bolster recruitment efforts for the department.
Northwestern Medical Center has been named one of the Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the nation by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Every year, NMC cares for approximately 2,250 inpatients and sees over 20,000 emergency patients.
